Africa Chapter III: Trek Part III

Let me preface this post by saying I could have done an entire blog just on this trek alone, but chose to cut out a lot of the content for the attention span of those reading.

That said, our decent was probably the hardest part of the trip, but also the most fun. As we went down, we came face-to-face with even more steep rock walls, deep rivers, and jungle terrain which thrived in the lower altitudes. Going down with heavy bags on your back and having to focus on every step, meant our knees had their work cut out for them. We also were spotted by several baboon troops, which loudly alerted their companions that we were near.
